The Landia DG-I chopper pump range is designed for demanding applications where heavily contaminated liquids or high dry-matter content fluids need reliable, efficient handling. With a knife system at the pump inlet, the range ensures clog-free operation, making it ideal for sewage treatment plants, pump stations, biogas facilities, the food industry, and abrasive or viscous liquids.
The pumps feature robust cast iron construction for the motor housing, oil chamber, and pump casing, with optional impellers in stainless steel or EN-GJS-700-2. Hardened steel knife systems, optional extended knives, silicon carbide mechanical seals, and A4 stainless steel bolts provide durability under tough conditions. 15W-40 Vario HDX oil and optional moisture detection add extra reliability.
Maintenance is straightforward with lifetime-lubricated motor bearings and a recommended service interval of up to 2,000 hours or once per year. Electrically, the DG-I range uses three-phase AC motors (400 V, 50 Hz, 0.75–18.5 kW), is compatible with VFD operation, protected to IP68, insulated to Class F, and offers optional ATEX certification for hazardous environments. Together, these features make the DG-I range a versatile and dependable choice for industrial and municipal chopper pumping applications.
