Pumps are essential to keeping your swimming pool clean and fresh, the pump you require will directly correlate to the size of your pool. Ideally, you will want a pump that can circulate your entire volume twice over the course of 24 hours.

To find the ideal flow rate for you pump, you will need to calculate the volume of your pool. This is done by multiplying the length, width and average depth of your pool, multiply that number by 2 and divide it by 1440 (the number of minutes in a day), this will give you your required flow rate.
