Industrial-Grade AODD Pumps For Everyday Fluid Transfer

The Aro Pro Series is an industrial-grade range of air-operated diaphragm pumps designed for general transfer, filling, recirculation, and batching duties. Port sizes run from 1″ to 3″ with flow rates reaching 133 LPM on the 1″ model, 340.7 LPM on the 1 1/2″, 651 LPM on the 2″, and 897 LPM on the 3″. Pro Series pumps handle clean, light-viscosity fluids through to corrosive or abrasive medium-viscosity fluids and transfer large particles without damage.

Broad Material And Porting Options

The range is available in aluminium, cast iron, stainless steel, and polypropylene bodies with diaphragm options including Santoprene, PTFE, PTFE/Santoprene, Viton (FKM), Nitrile, and TPE. Porting choices cover BSP, NPT, and flange configurations for straightforward integration into existing pipework. Most Pro Series pumps carry ATEX approval for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and run to a maximum operating pressure of 120 PSI.

Self-Priming, Stall-Free, And Easy To Service

Every Pro Series pump uses Aro’s SimulShift valve technology for reliable, stall-free operation and features bolted construction for leak-free fluid handling compared to band-clamp designs. The pumps are fully self-priming, can run dry without damage, and offer up to 5.8m dry suction lift on the 1 1/2″ model. Genuine service kits and full technical support are available through TF Pumps to keep pumps running at peak efficiency.

The Pro Series is Aro’s industrial-grade range aimed at general transfer, filling, recirculation, and batching applications. It’s the workhorse of Aro’s AODD lineup, suited to OEM builds and everyday process duties across chemical, paint, adhesive, and general manufacturing industries.

Aluminium is the lightest and most cost-effective option for general industrial fluids. Cast iron suits heavier-duty applications needing extra abrasion resistance. Stainless steel is used for corrosion-sensitive chemistries, and polypropylene is preferred for aggressive acids and caustics where metallic bodies would corrode.

Pro Series pumps operate up to 120 PSI (8.3 bar) fluid pressure. For applications requiring higher pressures, such as filter press feed, the Aro PH High Pressure Series uses a 2:1 ratio to deliver up to 300 PSI on the 1″ model and 200 PSI on larger sizes.

Yes. The pumps can pass suspended solids up to 6.4mm on the 1 1/2″ model, with larger sizes handling proportionally larger particles. For heavy solids-handling duties above these limits, the Pit Boss or Flap Valve speciality ranges are better suited.
