The Calpeda T Series is a close-coupled peripheral pump, sometimes called a regenerative pump, and it punches well above its weight. A turbine impeller spinning inside a tight cast iron casing lifts pressure dramatically without needing a large motor or a lot of space. If you have a job that needs real head at a modest flow rate, this is one of the most cost-effective ways to get there.
We list 19 models covering the T, TM, CT and CTM variants. Every one has a cast iron pump body and lantern bracket, with brass turbine impellers on the majority and bronze on a couple of models. Connections come in 3/4″, 1″ and 1 1/4″ BSP. Six models are single-phase TM and CTM units on 230v with a thermal protector fitted, and 13 are three-phase on 230/400v. To give you a feel for performance, a 0.75kW T 70/A moves 8 to 60 litres per minute at heads from 59 down to 10 metres.
Liquid temperature runs from -10°C to 90°C with ambient up to 40°C, and total suction lift reaches 7 metres. Maximum permissible pressure in the casing is 12.5 bar, so there is plenty of headroom. The 2-pole motors turn at roughly 2900 rpm and the range is rated for continuous duty. Keep the liquid clean and free of abrasives and suspended solids, and a T Series will keep going a very long time.

It is another name for a peripheral pump. The impeller has small vanes around its rim, and liquid gets picked up, flung into the casing channel and caught again by the next vane, over and over as it travels round. Each pass regenerates the pressure, which is where the name comes from.
Both are peripheral pumps from the same family, with the CT models sitting at the smaller, lower-output end of the range and the T models covering the larger duties. In our range the CT and CTM units are the entry point and the T models step up from there. All share the same cast iron construction.
Yes, and this is a real strength. The T Series is rated for liquid temperatures from -10°C up to 90°C, which covers heating circuits, boiler feed and hot water circulation comfortably. Ambient temperature around the pump should stay under 40°C.
