The DNA range is where Dreno steps up from compact sewage duty into proper industrial and municipal work. Flanged discharge and larger connection sizes let these pumps move real volume, and the wide passage through the casing means solids and suspended matter go through rather than getting caught. That combination is why you find them in water treatment plants, municipal systems, farming applications and larger commercial installs.
DNA pumps carry a double mechanical seal in a back to back configuration, sitting in an oil chamber that keeps both faces lubricated at all times. That is a meaningful upgrade over a single seal, because the seals stay wet even when the pumping conditions get rough, and it is the single biggest factor in how long one of these units lasts. Body and impeller are GG20 cast iron throughout, and an inspectable oil chamber makes checking seal condition part of routine maintenance rather than a strip down.
The range runs through 2 inch, 2.5 inch and 3 inch flanged discharge in both single phase 230v and three phase 400v. Two pole models give you the higher head, while four pole versions suit applications needing continuous S1 duty and run noticeably quieter. ATEX certified EX versions are available right across the range, and every model is rated IP68 for immersion to 20 metres in liquids up to 40 degrees C.
