Ebara 4BHS: Stainless Steel 4" Borehole Pumps

The Ebara 4BHS is a 4″ submersible borehole pump constructed entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel, including impellers, diffusers, discharge casing, and motor bracket. It is suitable for domestic, agricultural, and industrial water supply, pressure boosting, irrigation, and firefighting.

Performance and Key Specifications

The range delivers total head from 9.1 to 260m and flow rates from 0.9 to 18m³/h. Maximum immersion is 350m with a water bath motor, maximum liquid temperature is 30°C, and MEI exceeds 0.4 on the 4BHS 2, 4, and 7 models in line with ErP efficiency standards.

Precision Built for Long Service Life

Radial and axial bearings are tungsten carbide for durability under continuous loads, and the pump shaft is AISI 316 stainless steel. The pump is supplied as a bareshaft unit for coupling with a 4″ NEMA-compliant motor in oil-filled or water-filled configuration.

The 4BHS is constructed entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel including impellers and diffusers, unlike other 4″ models that combine stainless casings with technopolymer hydraulic components.

The 4BHS is designed for 4″ boreholes or wells. Confirm your well casing has sufficient internal diameter to accommodate the pump and cable before ordering.

The all-stainless construction makes it suitable for clean water handling. Confirm the water approval status for your specific model before use in a potable water system.

Tungsten carbide bearings resist abrasive wear, and the pump is rated for a maximum sand content of 50ppm. A disc-shaped insert in the intermediate casing also promotes smooth flow to reduce erosion risk.
