The Ebara 4WN is a 4″ submersible borehole pump with an AISI 304 stainless steel outer casing and Noryl floating impellers, designed for abrasion-resistant, particularly quiet operation. It is suitable for domestic water supply, irrigation, fountain feeds, autoclave pressurisation, and firefighting.
The range delivers maximum heads from 92m on the 4WN2 up to 202m on the 4WN8, with flow capacities from 50 to 200 LPM. MEI exceeds 0.4 on the 4WN1 through 4WN5 models, and NEMA-compliant motor coupling allows flexible motor selection.
The Noryl floating impeller design accommodates minor axial movement within the pump, contributing to quiet operation and reduced mechanical wear. The 4WN is available complete with a 4″ submersible motor or as a bareshaft unit for pairing with a separate motor.

The 4WN uses Noryl floating impellers rather than full stainless steel hydraulics, giving it excellent abrasion resistance and quieter running. The 4BHS is the higher specification option where all-stainless construction is required.
The 4WN suits domestic borehole supply, irrigation, fountains, autoclave pressurisation, and firefighting systems.
Yes, the 4WN is specifically designed for both vertical and horizontal installation, making it suitable for tank and cistern-fed systems.
