The Ebara 2CDX is a twin impeller centrifugal pump with hydraulics entirely in stainless steel, manufactured using Ebara’s hydroforming process for high corrosion resistance and hydraulic efficiency above 80%. It is designed for domestic pressure boosting, garden irrigation, washing, water treatment, cooling towers, and general clean water handling.
The twin impeller configuration extends the performance range beyond the single impeller CDX, achieving higher heads at the same flow rate. Components are formed using water pressure at up to 1,200 bar against a precision mould, eliminating welding points and producing perfectly smooth hydraulic surfaces. Maximum working pressure is 10 bar, and maximum liquid temperature is +90°C on the standard build, rising to +120°C with special mechanical seal options.
The standard mechanical seal is Ceramic/Carbon/NBR, with a range of special seals available to suit different fluid types and temperature requirements. Single-phase and three-phase versions are available, and IE3 high-efficiency motors are fitted from 0.75 kW upwards.

The 2CDX is a twin impeller centrifugal pump in AISI 304 (or AISI 316 for the L version) stainless steel, manufactured using Ebara’s hydroforming process for high corrosion resistance and efficiency above 80%.
The standard version handles liquids from -5°C to +90°C. Special mechanical seal variants extend this to +120°C.
Maximum working pressure is 10 bar across the 2CDX range.
The 2CDX suits domestic pressure boosting, garden irrigation, washing systems, water treatment, cooling towers, and general clean water handling in civil and industrial settings.
