The Ebara 3D Series is a standardised single-stage cast iron centrifugal pump manufactured to EN733, with an AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel impeller, axial suction, and radial discharge. It is suited to heating and air conditioning systems, civil and agricultural water supply, pressure boosting, and firefighting.
The 3D’s back pull-out construction allows the motor, coupling, bracket, and impeller to be removed without disconnecting the pump body from the pipework, simplifying maintenance significantly. The cast iron pump body is available in monobloc, stub shaft, and frame-mounted configurations, and a wide range of mechanical seal types is available to match different fluid requirements. Maximum working pressure is 10 bar and maximum liquid temperature is +90°C on the standard build.
The 3D differs from the stainless steel 3M, 3S, and 3P models in using a cast iron pump casing, making it the cost-effective choice for standard clean water and non-aggressive fluid duties. IE2 motors are fitted from 0.75 kW to 5.5 kW, with IE3 motors from 7.5 kW upwards.
