The Ebara 3S Series is an EN733 standardised centrifugal pump in AISI 304 stainless steel that uses a rigid shaft coupling between the motor and pump, with both mounted on a common baseplate. The rigid coupling design is suited to high-torque duties and applications where a separate, independently mountable motor is required.
The rigid coupling connects the motor and pump shafts without flexibility, making the 3S the appropriate choice for higher power duties where torsional stiffness is needed and where precise shaft alignment can be maintained. Like the rest of the 3 Series, the 3S includes back pull-out design for maintenance without pipework removal. Maximum working pressure is 10 bar and maximum liquid temperature is +90°C on the standard build, with higher ratings available using special seal variants.
The 3S is available with 2 or 4 pole motors and in a Z version (without support foot, repositioned foot direction) for flexible installation. The 3LS provides the same rigid coupling configuration in AISI 316 stainless steel for more aggressive fluid duties. MEI exceeds 0.4 across the range.

The 3S is an EN733 standardised AISI 304 stainless steel centrifugal pump with a rigid shaft coupling on a common baseplate, suitable for high-torque duties requiring a separate and independently replaceable motor.
The Z version of the 3S (3SZ) removes the support foot and repositions the foot direction, providing an alternative mounting arrangement for specific installation configurations.
The 3S is available with 2 pole and 4 pole motors, covering a broad range of speed, head, and flow requirements.
Maximum temperature is +90°C standard, +110°C on H/HW/HSW versions, and up to +120°C on the E and ES versions.
