The Ebara AGA is a self-priming single-stage cast iron centrifugal pump fitted with a Venturi unit (ejector and diffuser) in PPE+PS glass fibre reinforced polymer, designed for domestic pressure boosting, garden irrigation, vehicle washing, and general clean water handling. It delivers flow rates from 0.3 to 9.6m³/h and total heads from 16.5 to 68m.
The cast iron pump casing is lightweight and easy to transport, with a PPE+PS glass fibre reinforced impeller on the smaller 0.60–1.00 HP models and a brass impeller on the 1.50–3.00 HP models and all AGC variants. Maximum liquid temperature is 45°C, maximum suction depth is 8m, and maximum working pressure is 6 bar for the 0.60–1.00 range and 10 bar for the larger models.
Single-phase models include a permanent capacitor and thermo-amperometric protection with automatic reset, preventing motor damage from overheating or dry running. IE3 motors are fitted from 0.75 kW, and the 0.60 and 0.75 HP models are also available in G (garden) versions with a handle, standard socket, and 1.5m cable.
