The Ebara DWO is an AISI 304 stainless steel centrifugal pump fitted with an open radial flow impeller. They are manufactured using the hydroforming process for robust construction and hydraulic efficiency. Unlike the closed impeller DWC and CD models, the open impeller allows the DWO to handle liquids that are not completely clean, passing soft solids up to 19mm in diameter.
The pump body, casing cover, impeller, and shaft are all in AISI 304 stainless steel, with a Carbon/Ceramic/NBR mechanical seal as standard and special seal options available for higher temperature duties up to +120°C. Maximum working pressure is 8 bar, maximum liquid temperature is +90°C on the standard build, and maximum suction lift is 3 metres. Single-phase models include a permanent capacitor and thermo-amperometric protection with automatic reset.
The DWO is particularly suited to washing of vegetables, meat, fish, and shellfish, industrial end-of-cycle washing systems, bottle and container washing, communal dishwashers and glasswashers, spray booths, and general liquid handling and transfer duties. Its all-stainless construction and ability to pass small solids make it a practical choice wherever standard centrifugal pumps would block or corrode.
