The Ebara DW and DW VOX are AISI 304 stainless steel submersible sewage pumps designed for civil and industrial wastewater lifting, drainage of wells and excavations, handling of dirty water with suspended solids and fibrous materials, and emptying of cesspits. The DW uses a single-channel impeller, while the DW VOX uses a vortex impeller for greater free passage and reduced clogging risk.
All pump body, impeller, casing cover, and motor components are in AISI 304 stainless steel with an AISI 303 shaft. The double mechanical seal uses Carbon/Ceramic/NBR on the motor side and SiC/SiC/NBR on the pump side, with an interposed oil chamber for continuous lubrication. Maximum solids size is 50mm spherical, maximum liquid temperature is 40°C, and maximum immersion depth is 7 metres. Available in threaded (DW) and flanged (DWF) connection versions.
The DW single-channel impeller is more hydraulically efficient and better suited to applications with longer pipe runs or higher discharge heads. The DW VOX vortex impeller handles fibrous and larger solid materials more reliably with a lower clogging risk, making it the preferred choice for most sewage applications. Float switch versions are available for automatic operation, and all models are supplied with a 10m cable.
