UK-Built Peristaltic Hose Pumps For Industrial Duties

Enviroflex peristaltic hose pumps are designed and manufactured in Derby, UK, for industries handling abrasive, viscous, shear-sensitive, or chemically aggressive fluids. Available in bore sizes from 10mm up to 150mm, the range is built around a roller-driven L-Series platform that prioritises hose life and ease of service. Each pump uses a precision-ground hose and a specially compounded lubricant developed for Enviroflex’s roller design.

Roller Compression For Longer Hose Life

Most industrial peristaltic pumps use shoes to compress the hose, which generates heat and shortens hose life. Enviroflex pumps use rotating rollers instead, which reduces friction and heat transfer into the hose, extending service life and lowering energy consumption. The roller design also gives a greater displacement per revolution than equivalent shoe-design competitors, so the same flow can be achieved at a slower pump speed.

Customisable Pumps With Stocked Spares

Every L-Series pump can be specified with different body materials, hose compounds, gear motors, connection types, and finishes including stainless steel for food-grade washdown environments. Heating jackets, mobility kits, exotic metal coatings, and high-pressure variants rated to 20 barg are available as options. Parts, hoses, and lubricant are kept in stock through TF Pumps for fast turnaround on routine maintenance.

A peristaltic hose pump moves fluid by progressively compressing a flexible hose with rollers or shoes, drawing fluid in behind the compression and pushing it out ahead. The fluid never touches the pump mechanism, only the hose, which makes the design ideal for abrasive, contaminated, or shear-sensitive products.

Yes. Stainless steel pump body and frame finishes, food-grade FDA-compliant white natural rubber or nitrile hose, and Tri-Clamp connection options make the L-Series suitable for food, beverage, dairy, and pharmaceutical environments. Heating jackets are available for products like chocolate that need to stay above ambient temperature.

Typical industries include water and wastewater treatment, mining, chemical dosing, food and beverage processing, pharmaceuticals, and industrial slurry transfer. The pumps are also used by pump manufacturers building custom systems where a UK-sourced peristaltic platform is required.

Yes. Enviroflex is based in Derby and manufactures the pumps, hoses, and lubricant in the UK. TF Pumps holds stock of common L-Series spares for fast dispatch, supporting routine maintenance without long lead times.
