GemmeCotti HTT Magnetic Drive Turbine Pumps - Sealless Turbine Pumps For Corrosive Chemicals

The GemmeCotti HTT range is a series of magnetic drive regenerative turbine pumps built for aggressive, corrosive liquids. Motion is transferred through a magnetic coupling rather than a mechanical seal, so there is no seal to wear and no path for leaks or emissions. This makes the HTT a dependable choice for transferring acids, alkalis and other hazardous chemicals. The pumped liquid must be clean and free from suspended solids.

A Range Of Sizes, Materials And Motor Options

Our HTT category covers six sizes, from the compact HTT 2000 through to the HTT 12000, with flow rates up to 9 m³/h and heads up to 48 metres. Each size is available in polypropylene (PP) for liquids up to 60°C or PVDF for heavier duties up to 90°C, with EPDM or FKM O-rings fitted as standard respectively. You can choose a bareshaft pump head or a complete unit with a 50Hz motor, and connections are 1″ or 1 1/2″ BSP depending on the model.

Reliable Design With Simple Maintenance

HTT pumps use a static shaft in 99.7% alumina ceramic with PTFE-carbon bearings, giving excellent chemical resistance and long service life. Powerful NdFeB magnets provide high torque, and the design tolerates up to 20% entrained gas, resisting cavitation where many centrifugal pumps would struggle. It is a pump that combines a regenerative turbine impeller with a sealless magnetic coupling. The motor spins a drive magnet, which turns an inner magnet connected to the impeller, so there is no mechanical seal between the motor and the wet end. This eliminates leaks and the maintenance that seals normally demand.

HTT pumps are designed for highly corrosive liquids such as acids, alkalis and aggressive chemicals. Polypropylene and PVDF wetted parts give broad chemical compatibility across most industrial fluids. The liquid must be clean and free from suspended solids, with a viscosity of no more than 45 cPs.

Polypropylene suits a wide range of chemicals at temperatures up to 60°C and is the more economical option. PVDF offers higher chemical resistance and handles liquids up to 90°C, making it the better choice for harsher duties.
