JS Pumps are a UK supplier of submersible sewage and wastewater pumps designed for domestic and light industrial applications. The submersible sewage range covers vortex impeller pumps (SV/JST-SV) for general sewage and waste water, shredder impeller pumps (SK/JST-SK) for fibrous and stringy solids, and grinder macerator pumps (GS/GST) for high-head discharge where standard pumps cannot reach. Flow rates run from 130 LPM up to 3,000 LPM.
The 110V and 230V single-phase models cover construction sites, domestic, and light commercial use, while the 415V three-phase JST and GST pumps handle heavier industrial duties. Pump heads run from 7 metres on the smallest SV model up to 40 metres on high-head variants and grinder macerator pumps. Outlets range from 1 1/4″ up to 6″ depending on flow and discharge requirements.
Most JS submersible sewage pumps can be installed free-standing in a sump for portable applications, or guide-rail mounted on a coupling foot for permanent wet-well installations. Twin mechanical seals (carbon ceramic and silicon carbide) in a lubricated oil chamber give long service life, and all models come with 10 metres of power cable as standard. Float switch automation and Agma level regulators are available across the range.

There are three main types. Vortex impeller pumps (SV/JST-SV) handle general sewage and waste water with solids in suspension. Shredder impeller pumps (SK/JST-SK) cut fibrous and stringy material. Grinder macerator pumps (GS/GST) reduce soft solids to fragments for pumping through smaller-bore discharge lines at higher heads.
Use a vortex pump for general wastewater with normal sewage content and acceptable head. Use a shredder pump where rags, fibres, or wipes cause clogging. Use a grinder macerator pump for high-rise buildings, long discharge runs, or installations limited to small-bore pipework where the higher discharge head is needed.
The smaller JS pumps are available in 110V or 230V single-phase for site and domestic use. The larger JST pumps and the GST grinder range are 415V three-phase for industrial and commercial applications. The right voltage depends on the available supply and the pump duty.
Flow rates start at 130 LPM on the smallest JS150SV vortex pump and reach 3,000 LPM on the largest JST75SV. The shredder range covers 400 LPM up to 2,300 LPM on the JST110SK, and the grinder range covers 120 LPM up to 320 LPM at much higher heads.
