The Koshin Ponstar range covers electric submersible pumps built for heavy-duty drainage, spanning the PBX and PX families along with the lighter PXL for residual water clearance. They’re designed to run submerged in the water they’re pumping, suited to clean and dirty water alike.
PBX and PBX7 pumps are built with an air valve system that lets the motor keep cooling itself even during dry running, alongside a capacitor-start motor for extra starting torque and a wear-resistant polyurethane impeller and suction cover for sandy or muddy water. The delivery flange can be set vertically or horizontally with just two bolts, so the hose never has to fight an awkward bend.
PX pumps use an alloy body with a stainless steel shaft and a urethane rubber impeller for a longer service life than a standard cast iron design, sharing the same invertible delivery flange as PBX. PXL is the range’s specialist for tight spaces, designed to clear residual water down to around a millimetre in manholes, bottom pits and similar narrow-access drainage.

PBX is built with an air valve for dry-run protection and a capacitor-start motor for extra torque, suiting sandy or muddy water. PX uses an alloy body with a urethane impeller and is designed for continuous-rated drainage in clean and dirty water.
PXL is designed to clear residual water down to around a millimetre, suiting narrow-access drainage like manholes and bottom pits where standard pumps can’t reach.

PBX and PBX7 models are built specifically for this, with wear-resistant polyurethane components. PX and PXL are better suited to cleaner water and residual drainage.
