Lowara DL Submersible Sewage Pumps

Lowara DL and DLV submersible pumps are engineered specifically for handling sewage and wastewater containing suspended solids and fibrous materials. Available with either single-channel or vortex impeller configurations, these pumps are well-suited to septic tank discharge, municipal wastewater applications, and heavily contaminated excavation water.

Cast Iron Construction with Multiple Seal Barriers

DL pumps combine cast iron pump body with stainless steel or cast iron impeller options depending on application requirements. The sand labyrinth mechanical seal protection filters abrasive particles, dramatically extending seal life compared to standard designs.

Robust Design for Extended Wastewater Duty

The oil-filled submersible motor provides both cooling and electrical insulation protection, enabling reliable operation during extended wastewater pumping cycles. DL pumps are commonly used in municipal treatment plants, industrial wastewater handling, and construction site dewatering, where conventional pumps are inappropriate.

DL and DLV models accommodate solids up to 50 millimetres depending on model. This makes them ideal for septic tank discharge and municipal wastewater.

Yes, DL pumps excel in construction dewatering where water contains mud, sand, and debris. The vortex impeller handles construction-site debris without requiring constant monitoring.

DL series is rated for 8-10 bar operating pressure depending on model. This suits most sewage applications where discharge pressure is modest.

DL pumps are rated for maximum 50°C liquid temperature when fully submerged. Partially-submerged configurations are limited to 25°C.
