An Air System Designed Around Efficiency

The PWR-Flo range is built on an asymmetrical spool design, and Nomad make no secret of the reason: it is one of the most air-efficient systems on the market. Compressed air is expensive to make, so a pump that does more work per cubic metre pays for itself over a shift pattern. PWR-Flo pumps cover sizes from 1/4 inch up to 3 inch, with flow reaching well over 800 litres a minute on the largest models. Maximum air supply pressure is 8.6 bar.

Anti-Stalling Where It Actually Matters

The other half of the asymmetrical spool story is reliability on stop-start work. Filling and batching duties cycle a pump constantly, and that is precisely where a marginal air valve will hang up mid-stroke and cost you a line stoppage. PWR-Flo is engineered to shift positively every time. The air valve and centre section are moulded in chemically resistant polypropylene, which also stands up well to aggressive atmospheres around the pump itself.

Four Body Materials And Four Connection Types

Wetted bodies are offered in aluminium, cast iron, 316 stainless steel and polypropylene, with centre sections in aluminium or polypropylene. Diaphragms cover nitrile, EPDM, neoprene, FKM, polyurethane, Santoprene, TPE and PTFE, plus PTFE-faced combinations and one-piece integral piston versions. Porting comes in BSP, NPT, flanged and Tri-Clamp, and many of the pumps listed carry an ATEX rating.
