Each Pedrollo centrifugal range is engineered around a specific hydraulic principle to match its intended duty. Twin-impeller and multistage designs build pressure for water supply and pressurisation; single-impeller pumps prioritise flow for transfer and circulation; open-impeller designs pass solids without clogging; self-priming and liquid-ring designs handle suction lifts and air-laden fluids. Working pressures range from 6 bar on lighter-duty pumps up to 10 bar on the multi-impeller and high-pressure variants.
Pump body materials include AISI 304 stainless steel on the multistage and self-priming jet ranges, and cast iron with stainless steel backplates on the single-impeller and high-flow pumps. Impellers are AISI 304 stainless, AISI 316 stainless, brass, or Noryl technopolymer depending on the range and duty. Single-phase 230V variants suit domestic use, while three-phase 230/400V models cover industrial and high-power applications.
