The Pentax Ultra range is a family of stainless steel multistage horizontal pumps built for pumping clean, non-loaded fluids. They cover everything from domestic pressure boosting to irrigation, water treatment, heating and air conditioning, and washing systems. The range spans several flow-rate families, so there’s a model to suit most household and light industrial needs.
Pump bodies and mechanical seal housings are stainless steel, with a stainless steel motor shaft and Noryl impellers and diffusers. Mechanical seals step up from ceramic-graphite on lower stage-count models to graphite-silicon carbide on higher-stage models, matching the seal to the duty. Maximum operating pressure runs up to 8.5 bar, with a liquid temperature range of -5°C to 35°C.
Motors are 2-pole induction, available as single-phase 230v or three-phase 230/400v, with thermal protection built in on smaller single-phase models. WRAS-approved variants are available for anyone working to UK drinking water regulations, and outlet sizes run from 1 inch up to 1½ inches depending on the model.
