The Yamada DP series is the compact end of the range, built for the jobs where you do not need hundreds of litres a minute but you absolutely need reliability. We list 44 DP pumps here across two port sizes, 3/8 inch and 1/2 inch, all with BSP connections. Flow tops out at roughly 23 litres a minute on the 3/8 inch models and close to 30 litres a minute on the 1/2 inch. They are the natural choice for drum transfer, dosing, small batch filling and laboratory or workshop duties.
Wetted bodies are available in three materials on this page: aluminium for general transfer, polypropylene where you need broad chemical resistance at a sensible price, and 316 stainless steel for solvents, food contact and anything demanding. Every DP pump on this page uses an aluminium centre section. Diaphragm and ball options include nitrile, EPDM, neoprene, Santoprene, TPE, FKM and PTFE, plus PTFE with EPDM backing.
Like the rest of the Yamada line-up, DP pumps use bolted construction rather than clamp bands. That matters more than it sounds: clamp band pumps have a habit of weeping after a rebuild if anything is fractionally misaligned, whereas a bolted pump goes back together properly every time. Half of the DP pumps we list carry an ATEX rating for use in classified areas.

On this page you will find aluminium, polypropylene and 316 stainless steel wetted bodies. Aluminium suits general oils and non-corrosive transfer, polypropylene handles a wide range of chemicals, and stainless steel covers solvents, hygienic duties and more aggressive media. All the DP pumps listed here use an aluminium centre section.
Yes, 22 of the 44 DP pumps on this page carry an ATEX rating. If your application is in a zoned area, check the individual product listing or contact us with your zone and equipment category and we will confirm which models are appropriate.
They suit lower flow transfer duties such as drum and IBC decanting, small batch filling, chemical dosing, ink and adhesive handling, and laboratory or pilot plant work. Their compact size makes them easy to mount on a trolley or fit into a tight machine frame. They are also popular as portable units where a compressed air line is already available.
