The Calpeda GQG 6-25 is a three-phase submersible pump with a high-power grinder built in, so it can handle wastewater containing long stringy material like rags, paper and textiles – the grinder chops everything down to size (passing solids up to 6mm) before it goes through, making it a great fit for domestic, residential and industrial installations. It runs on a 400v supply with a 1.5 kW motor, delivering up to 25m of head and a flow rate of 280 LPM, and it’s rated for continuous submerged duty down to 5m. It is supplied without a float switch, so you’ll need to add your own level control if you want automatic on/off.
