The MPG-I long shaft chopper pump range is built for tough industrial applications, handling liquids with high dry-matter content reliably and efficiently. Ideal for biogas plants, abattoirs, the paper industry, and fish processing, these pumps operate at 1,500 rpm and are designed to manage fibrous or solid-laden media.
Durable construction includes cast iron casings and impellers, acid-proof stainless steel bolts, and a hardened steel knife system (with optional extended knives) for effective chopping. Adjustable bottom flushing helps maintain performance and prevent blockages.
Maintenance is simple, with a recommended service interval of up to 1,000 hours or annually and lifetime-lubricated motor bearings. Electrically, the range features three-phase motors (5.5–30 kW), 400 V, 50 Hz, compatible with VFDs, and protected to IP55 with Class F insulation, making MPG-I a versatile, heavy-duty solution for demanding pumping tasks.
