The ARO Classic is a ½” ported air-operated double diaphragm pump designed for OEM and compact industrial applications. Combining proven reliability with a wide range of porting and material configurations to suit specific installation requirements. The pump delivers flow rates up to 49.2 litres per minute and operates at a maximum discharge pressure of 6.8 bar.
The Classic is available with centre, end, dual inlet/outlet, and swivel top manifold configurations, giving it considerable flexibility for tight or awkward installation layouts. Casing materials include polypropylene, groundable acetal, and PVDF (Kynar), and a broad choice of diaphragm materials, including Neoprene, Nitrile, Viton, PTFE, Santoprene, EPR, Polyurethane, and Hytrel, allows compatibility with a wide range of fluids.
The Classic’s motor design delivers optimum air efficiency, and ARO’s patented Unbalanced air valve ensures no-stall operation even under restricted or varying back pressure conditions. Bolted construction provides leak-free fluid handling, and modular design simplifies field servicing. It is particularly well established in printing, dispensing, and small-scale chemical transfer applications.
