Aro Fuel Transfer Pumps are air-operated diaphragm pumps specifically designed for dispensing petroleum-based fuels. The 650718-C and 650719-C models handle gasoline, aviation fuel, diesel, fuel oil, and kerosene safely. Built from aluminium with FKM diaphragms, Acetal balls, and PVDF seats, the pumps are fully compatible with common hydrocarbon fuels at up to 82°C.
Both models meet the UL 79 specification code for pumps used to transfer flammable and combustible liquids. Flow rates reach 283.9 LPM with a maximum fluid pressure of 50 PSI, sized for refuelling stations, mobile fuel bowsers, and industrial dispensing. ATEX rating allows safe use in classified hazardous zones.
The 650718-C is a 1 1/2″ pump, and the 650719-C is a 2″ version, both utilising NPT porting for straightforward integration into standard fuel handling piping. Maximum solids passage is 6.4mm, which is more than sufficient for the light particulates occasionally present in fuel systems. Genuine Aro service kits are available through TF Pumps for long-term support.

The Aro 650718-C and 650719-C are approved for gasoline, aviation fuel, diesel, fuel oil, and kerosene. The FKM diaphragms, Acetal balls, and PVDF seats provide long-term compatibility with the aromatics and additives found in modern petroleum fuels.
UL 79 is a safety standard covering pumps used for dispensing flammable and combustible liquids. Compliance confirms the pump has been tested for safe use in fuel-handling applications and is suitable for installation at fuel dispensing points under most regulatory frameworks.
Yes. Both the 650718-C and 650719-C are ATEX rated, which together with their pneumatic operation makes them suitable for hazardous zones where electric pumps are not permitted. Always confirm your specific zone classification before installation.
The standard FKM diaphragm handles petroleum fuels reliably but may have limited life with high-ethanol blends or pure biodiesel. For these fluids, consult our technical team before ordering to confirm material compatibility.
