The Ebara CD is a single impeller centrifugal pump manufactured entirely in AISI 304 stainless steel, with hydraulic components produced by Ebara’s hydroforming process for high corrosion resistance and hydraulic efficiency. It is designed for domestic pressure boosting, garden irrigation, washing, water treatment, cooling towers, and clean water handling in damp or saline environments.
The all-stainless construction makes the CD particularly suited to installations where corrosion resistance is critical, such as coastal, marine-influenced, or chemical environments. The 2-pole self-ventilated asynchronous motor uses internal ventilation, and the standard mechanical seal is Ceramic/Carbon/NBR with special seal variants available. Maximum liquid temperature is -5°C to +90°C on the standard build, rising to +120°C with appropriate seals.
The CD covers the same application areas as the twin impeller 2CDX but at lower head requirements, making it the right choice where flow rate is the primary requirement rather than high head. Single-phase and three-phase models are available.

The CD is a single impeller centrifugal pump manufactured entirely in AISI 304 stainless steel using the hydroforming process, designed for domestic, civil, and industrial clean water applications.
The CD suits domestic pressure boosting, garden irrigation, washing, water treatment, cooling towers, and general clean water handling in civil and industrial settings.
The standard version handles liquids from -5°C to +90°C. Special mechanical seal variants extend this to +120°C.
Yes, the all-stainless AISI 304 construction makes the CD well suited to damp, humid, or saline environments where a cast iron pump would be susceptible to corrosion.
