The Ebara DWC is a centrifugal pump fitted with a closed radial flow impeller in AISI 304 stainless steel, manufactured using the hydroforming process for robust, silent construction. It is designed primarily for cooling, air conditioning, heating, and chiller systems, as well as washing systems and civil and industrial water supply.
The DWC is supplied with an insulating shell as standard, which prevents condensation from forming on the pump body in chiller and cooling applications. It is available in two connection variants: Victaulic (DWC-V) for grooved pipework systems and threaded (DWC-N) for standard pipework. With both G2 suction and discharge connections. The standard mechanical seal is Ceramic/Carbon/EPDM, with special seals available for higher temperatures. Maximum working pressure is 8 bar, and maximum liquid temperature is -15°C to +90°C.
The DWC’s closed radial flow impeller and EPDM seal make it specifically suited to glycol solutions and the temperature extremes typical of chiller and cooling circuits, distinguishing it from the general-purpose CD and 2CDX pump families. Flow rates range from 6 to 45m³/h with heads from 6.2 to 25m.
