110V And 230V Single-Phase Sewage Vortex Pumps

The JS-SV range is a series of single-phase submersible sewage vortex impeller pumps designed for general waste water and sewage applications. Available in 110V site supply and 230V domestic supply, the range covers flow rates from 130 LPM on the JS150SV up to 700 LPM on the JS1500SV. Discharge outlets run from 1 1/4″ up to 3″ depending on the pump size.

Vortex Impeller For Reliable Solids Handling

The vortex impeller design creates a swirling flow through the pump body that draws solids and stringy material through without coming into direct contact with the impeller blades. This minimises clogging on typical sewage content, and gives much longer service life than a closed impeller in the same conditions. Solids handling is consistent across the range.

Manual Or Automatic With Float Switch Options

Every JS-SV pump is available as a manual unit (for use with external level control) or as an automatic version fitted with a Mac 3 single-action float switch. An Agma 22 magnetic level regulator is also available as an alternative on most models. Twin mechanical seals in an oil chamber give long service life, and each pump comes with 10 metres of power cable.

The JS-SV range covers the JS150SV (130 LPM, 7m head, 1 1/4″), JS250SV (220 LPM, 8m, 1 1/2″), JS400SV (240 LPM, 8m, 2″), JS650SV (300 LPM, 15m, 2″), JS750SV (500 LPM, 9m, 3″), and JS1500SV (700 LPM, 10m, 3″). All are single-phase 110V or 230V.

A vortex impeller is recessed into the pump body so that the impeller blades do not directly contact most of the fluid passing through the pump. Instead, the impeller creates a swirling vortex that drags fluid and solids through the chamber. This design handles stringy and fibrous material far better than a closed impeller and is the standard choice for general sewage.

The vortex impeller design handles typical sewage solids, fibres, and rags without clogging. Specific solids passage varies by pump size, with the larger 3″ models passing larger solids. For applications with rags or wipes that cause regular blockages, the JS-SK shredder range is a better fit.

The JS-SV pumps are single-phase 110V or 230V, suited to construction, domestic, and light commercial use. The JST-SV pumps are three-phase 415V for industrial duties and run to much higher flow rates of up to 3,000 LPM. The vortex impeller design is the same; the difference is motor size and supply.
