Koshin has built pumps in Japan since 1948, and this range pairs that engineering with Honda’s petrol engines, giving you a water pump that doesn’t need a socket nearby. It spans the KTH, PGH, SEH, SERH and STH families, covering everything from clean water transfer through to trash duty and high-pressure work.
Each pump runs on a Honda GX-series engine, sized to match the job, from small single-cylinder units on the lighter models up to larger engines on the heavy trash and high-pressure pumps. Being engine-driven means these pumps go wherever a generator or mains supply can’t, which is why they turn up so often on construction sites, farms and flood response jobs.
Koshin splits this lineup by task rather than offering a single do-it-all pump. SEH covers clean and lightly soiled water, PGH is built for chemicals, fuel and salt water, KTH and STH handle trash and semi-trash duty, and SERH steps in when you need higher discharge pressure. If you’re not sure which family fits, our team at TF Pumps can help you match the pump to the job.

They cover general water transfer, trash and sewage-grade pumping, and higher-pressure duties like firefighting, all powered by a Honda petrol engine rather than mains electricity. That makes them a common choice for construction sites, agriculture and flood response.
No, that’s the point of the range. Every pump runs on its own Honda engine, so you can use it anywhere you can get fuel to it, including sites with no power connection.
KTH and STH are built for trash and semi-trash duty, with impellers designed to pass solids without clogging. If your water is clean or only lightly soiled, SEH is a better fit.
PGH is built for exactly that, with thermoplastic construction suited to salt water, chemicals, fuel oil and fertilisers. The rest of the range is intended for water rather than aggressive fluids, so check with us if you’re unsure.
