Honda petrol powered engine pumps are self-priming for the transfer of non-abrasive, but aggressive liquids that would normally cause corrosion of the aluminium and cast iron components normally found in standard engine driven pumps. They are constructed from polyethylene terephthalate, EPOM o-rings and rubber of the carbon ceramic mechanical seal and stainless steel bolts and washers. The standard construction will handle most detergents, many agricultural chemicals and sea salt walter.
