Lowara CO Centrifugal Pumps

AISI 316L Stainless Steel for Demanding Applications

Lowara CO series threaded centrifugal pumps combine open impeller design with AISI 316L stainless steel construction, ideal for handling moderately aggressive liquids with suspended solids. Delivering up to 54 m³/h with maximum heads up to 24m, these close-coupled pumps feature back pull-out design allowing maintenance without disconnecting pipework. The four-vane pressed impeller welded to base disk provides robust solids passage capability.

Handles Suspended Solids With Ease

Open impeller design allows passage of suspended solids: CO350 models handle solids up to 11mm, CO500 models up to 20mm. Perfect for industrial washing systems, food industry applications, textile dyeing plants, and circulation of moderately viscous liquids. Operating pressure up to 8 bar with liquid temperature range from -10°C to +120°C suits demanding industrial environments. Available in single-phase and three-phase configurations from 0.37kW to 3kW.

Easy Maintenance and Durable Construction

Compact construction with threaded Rp ISO 7 suction and discharge connections. Back pull-out design enables seal and impeller maintenance without removing pump body from system. Pump body secured by 8 screws allows 360° discharge rotation for installation flexibility. No diffusers or cavities simplifies cleaning and maintenance in hygiene-critical applications.

CO pumps feature open impellers specifically designed to pass suspended solids without clogging. The AISI 316L stainless steel construction provides superior corrosion resistance compared to standard pumps, making them ideal for moderately aggressive liquids.

Back pull-out design allows removal of the impeller, shaft, and seal assembly without disconnecting the pump body from the pipework. This significantly reduces maintenance time and complexity, especially beneficial in permanent installations.

Yes, CO pumps operate with liquid temperatures from -10°C up to +120°C. This wide temperature range suits industrial washing systems, dyeing plants, and other processes requiring elevated temperature operation.

Common applications include industrial washing machines, commercial dishwashers, metal parts cleaning, textile dyeing systems, food industry washing, packaging plant washdown, and circulation of moderately viscous or aggressive liquids with suspended matter.
