The Pedrollo 2CP Range is a series of twin-impeller centrifugal pumps designed for high-pressure water supply, pressure boosting, and fire-fighting duties where a single-impeller design would not deliver enough head. Two impellers in series within a single cast-iron pump body give heads up to 112m and flows up to 450 L/min (27 m³/h). Models include the 2CP 25/14, 2CP 25/16, 2CP 32/200, 2CP 32/210, 2CP 40/180, and 2CP 40/200.
The pump body is cast iron with ISO 228/1 threaded ports, with the body backplate in AISI 304 stainless steel and impellers in brass or AISI 304 stainless on certain models. The motor shaft is AISI 431 stainless steel for corrosion resistance. The construction handles liquid temperatures from -10°C to +90°C, well above the standard 2-5CR range, suiting hot-water boosting and certain process duties.
Single-phase 2CPm models (230V) cover the lower power range, while three-phase 2CP models cover 230/400V up to 4 kW and 400/690V from 5.5 kW up to 11 kW. Pumps have IE2 motors (single-phase) and IE3 motors (three-phase) for high efficiency. Selected models such as the 2CP 32/200, 2CP 32/210, 2CP 40/180, and 2CP 40/200 carry IPX5 protection for damp environments.

A twin-impeller centrifugal pump uses two impellers in series within a single pump body, doubling the discharge pressure of an equivalent single-impeller design at roughly half the flow rate. This makes twin-impeller pumps particularly suitable for pressure boosting, fire-fighting, and high-head water supply where a single impeller would not be sufficient.
The standard range includes the 2CP 25/14 and 2CP 25/16 (smaller-bore, lower-flow), the 2CP 32/200 and 2CP 32/210 (mid-range), and the 2CP 40/180 and 2CP 40/200 (larger flow). Each base model has size and power sub-variants in single-phase (2CPm) and three-phase (2CP) configurations.
Working pressure depends on the specific model and head class. The 2CP range as a whole covers heads up to 112m, which corresponds to approximately 11 bar discharge pressure. Pressure ratings on individual pumps are confirmed on the datasheet for that model.
The 2CP handles liquid temperatures from -10°C up to +90°C, considerably higher than the 60°C limit on the 2-5CR. This makes the 2CP suitable for hot water boosting, heating circuit transfer, and certain process duties where elevated fluid temperature is normal.
Yes. The twin-impeller design and high-head capability make the 2CP a common choice for sprinkler and hose-reel feed sets, package fire-fighting systems, and similar applications. The cast iron construction handles continuous duty in well-pressurised systems.
