The ClassicFlo range is Samoa’s 2 inch UP20 platform, and it exists to shift real volume on compressed air. Maximum free flow reaches 650 litres per minute, which puts it firmly in high volume transfer, dewatering and evacuation territory rather than dosing duty. Everything in the range runs on 2 inch BSP connections, so it drops straight into existing pipework on most sites.
The UP20 uses a frictionless pivot shaft air valve, and it is genuinely the standout feature of the pump. It delivers maximum fluid flow from reduced air consumption, and it will not stall or ice up, so you get reliable low pressure start up and a much longer working life from both the air valve and the diaphragms. Fewer stalls and no icing means less time spent standing at the pump wondering why it has stopped.
Bodies come in aluminium or stainless steel with an aluminium centre section, and every configuration in the range is ATEX certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Diaphragms, balls and seats can be specified in nitrile, Santoprene, TPE, FKM and PTFE combinations to suit the fluid, whether that is abrasive, chemically aggressive or hot. Servicing has been kept simple too, with components designed to come apart cleanly rather than fight you.

Maximum free flow is 650 litres per minute, which is around 172 gallons per minute. That is the unrestricted figure, so your actual delivered flow will depend on the discharge head, air supply pressure and the viscosity of the fluid.
ClassicFlo pumps use 2 inch BSP connections throughout the range. If you need something smaller, the Samoa DirectFlo range covers quarter inch up to inch and a half.
Yes, the range is ATEX certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, and fully groundable versions are available. As always, check that the wider installation and your earthing arrangements are specified to match.
They handle suspended solids up to around 6.4mm depending on the configuration. If your fluid carries larger particles than that, let us know and we will look at alternatives that will cope.
