The Aro PH High Pressure Series is a range of 2:1 ratio air-operated diaphragm pumps that deliver fluid pressures well above the 100 PSI limit of standard AODD designs. The 1″ PH10 reaches up to 300 PSI, while the 1 1/2″, 2″, and 3″ models produce up to 200 PSI at roughly half the flow of a standard pump. Port options include BSP, NPT, and flange across sizes from 1″ to 3″.
All PH series pumps use Aro’s SimulShift valve and Quick Dump valve technology for stall-free, non-icing performance even at higher operating pressures. Stainless steel construction with a conductive polypropylene centre section combines chemical resistance with ATEX approval. Flow rates range from 98.4 LPM on the 1″ PH10 up to 567.8 LPM on the 3″ PH30.
Typical applications include filter press feed, ceramic and coating transfer, wastewater treatment, and any process where a conventional AODD lacks the discharge pressure. Convoluted diaphragms in PTFE or Santoprene give up to four times the life of traditional designs, and modular bolted construction simplifies servicing with standard Aro repair kits supplied through TF Pumps.

A 2:1 ratio pump uses the surface area of both diaphragms to double the output fluid pressure relative to the air supply pressure. So 100 PSI of compressed air delivers up to 200 PSI of fluid pressure, at roughly half the flow rate of a standard pump running on the same air.
Yes. All PH series pumps carry ATEX approval thanks to stainless steel construction and a conductive polypropylene centre section. This allows use in explosive atmospheres common in coatings, solvents, and chemical processing.
The 1″ PH10 reaches up to 300 PSI, while the 1 1/2″ PH15, 2″ PH20, and 3″ PH30 models produce up to 200 PSI. Maximum air inlet pressure is 100 PSI across the range, with fluid pressure scaled up by the pump’s internal ratio.
Filter press feed is the classic high-pressure AODD application, where discharge pressure rises as the cake builds up. The PH range also suits coatings, ceramics, wastewater treatment, and any process where fluid pressure requirements exceed 100 PSI. All units can run dry and are self-priming.
