The Pedrollo 2-5CR Range is a series of horizontal multistage centrifugal pumps built in AISI 304 stainless steel throughout the pump body and backplate. The range covers two-stage through five-stage models (2CR, 3CR, 4CR, 5CR) in 80 and 100 frame sizes, with single-phase and three-phase variants. Flow rates run up to 130 L/min (7.8 m³/h) with heads up to 66m on the 5CR80, giving high-pressure delivery suitable for water supply, pressurisation, and irrigation.
Standard 2-5CR impellers are made of General Electric Noryl technopolymer, which is approved for drinking water contact. AISI 304 stainless steel impeller variants are also available where extra corrosion resistance is needed. The AISI 304 stainless steel pump body and backplate make this the right Pedrollo range for potable water systems, food-adjacent applications, coastal or humid installations, and warm-water duties up to 60°C.
WRAS-certified versions are available on request for UK potable water installations. Working pressure is 7 bar, slightly higher than the 6 bar of the cast-iron CP series, and the pumps come with 1″ BSP threaded ports across all models for straightforward integration. Power range covers 0.37 kW (2CR80) up to 1.1 kW (5CR100), with IE2 single-phase and IE3 three-phase efficiency motors as standard.

A multistage centrifugal pump uses two or more impellers in series within a single pump body to build progressively higher pressure as fluid passes through each stage. This gives much higher discharge heads than a single-impeller pump of the same flow capacity, making multistage pumps the standard choice for pressure boosting and water supply applications.
The range covers 2CR (two-stage), 3CR (three-stage), 4CR (four-stage), and 5CR (five-stage) pumps in 80 and 100 frame sizes. Single-phase models carry the “m” suffix (2CRm 80, 3CRm 100 etc) and run on 230V; three-phase models run on 230/400V. Power ranges from 0.37 kW on the 2CR80 up to 1.1 kW on the 5CR100.
The 5CR80 reaches 66m head at lower flows, while the 5CR100 reaches 62m at higher flows up to 130 L/min. Smaller stage counts have proportionally less head: the 2CR80 delivers up to 26m, the 3CR80 38m, and the 4CR80 50m. Choose by required head and flow at the operating point.
Yes. The Noryl impellers are approved by General Electric for drinking water contact, and the AISI 304 stainless steel pump body and backplate meet hygiene requirements for potable water installations. WRAS-certified variants are available on request for UK regulatory compliance.
Standard 2-5CR models handle liquid temperatures from -10°C to +60°C. The “X” variants (such as 3CRm 80X) are limited to -10°C to +40°C and typically use AISI 304 stainless steel impellers in place of Noryl. Choose the X variant where extra impeller corrosion resistance is needed.
