The Pedrollo HF Range is a series of high-flow single-impeller centrifugal pumps designed for irrigation, agricultural transfer, cooling system circulation, and any duty where moving large volumes of water at moderate head is the priority. The range covers two flow tiers: medium flow (50 to 600 L/min) and high flow (200 to 2200 L/min), making it Pedrollo’s go-to surface pump for water movement at scale. Cast iron pump bodies with stainless steel and brass internals give long service life.
Port sizing scales with pump size: the HF4 (0.75 kW) uses 2½” inlet and outlet ports; the HF6 models (1.1-2.2 kW) step up to 3″ ports; and the larger HF8, HF20, and HF30 models use 4″ ports to accommodate the highest flow rates. Impellers are brass across most of the range, with cast iron used on the HF30 for added durability at maximum flow rates. The pump body is cast iron with AISI 304 stainless steel backplates on smaller models.
Single-phase HFm models (HFm4, HFm6C, HFm6B) cover lower power ratings for domestic and light agricultural use, while three-phase HF models cover the full range up to higher power ratings for serious agricultural and industrial irrigation duties. The range handles liquid temperatures from -10°C to +90°C at working pressures up to 6 bar.

The HF range is designed for high-flow water transfer applications where moving large volumes matters more than building high pressure. Typical applications include agricultural irrigation, river and channel transfer, large cooling system circulation, fire pump duties, and tank-to-tank transfer at scale.
The HF Medium Flow tier covers 50 to 600 L/min flow rates with smaller motors and 2½” or 3″ ports, suiting moderate-scale irrigation and transfer. The HF High Flow tier covers 200 to 2200 L/min with larger motors and 4″ ports, suiting large-scale agricultural and industrial applications.
Maximum flow rate is 2200 L/min on the HF30, which is the largest pump in the range. The HF8 and HF20 deliver intermediate flows below 2200 L/min, while the HF Medium Flow tier handles 50 to 600 L/min on smaller motors. Flow depends heavily on the operating head.
Impellers are brass on most HF models, which gives good corrosion resistance and erosion tolerance at moderate cost. The HF30 uses a cast iron impeller for added durability at maximum flow rates, where erosion would shorten brass impeller life.
The HF range is designed for clean water and liquids that are not chemically aggressive towards the pump components. For lightly contaminated water containing small suspended solids, the NGA open-impeller range is a better choice; its impeller passes solids up to 10mm without clogging.
